Mediocre at best. The BBQ you'll get on Hillsborough Avenue is considerably better. Chicken is dry, overcooked as was the sausage and the ribs. Collard greens with a roux were disgusting. Steamed brocolli was actually pretty good. I originally came in for the buffet but after not seeing what I wanted, I had to have my previous order canceled. They serve unsweetened tea from the fountain while they make the sweet tea from scratch. That's simply unforgiveable. The place was also basically empty. I can see why.

This place rocks. Had the lunch buffet for the first time today. My family owns a bbq restaurant in NC and this was just as good. The sauces were tasty as well as the other food. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Loved the historic pictures of St Petersburg around the walls. Great job guys! Keep up the good work and we will be back very soon!

Couldn't even get service. Sat down, husband went to the bar to ask for drinks, and the large red-bearded guy just said "Nope" and walked away. We went to Cerviches Tapas Bar and it couldn't have been better!

How did I not know these guys were here earlier. The pulled pork BBQ is as good as I've had anywhere. The lunch buffet is a steal at $8.99. BBQ chicken and pork but the pork is the best, great salad bar and baked beans. I love collard but the gravy on the collards just didn't do it for me. If you like collards they don't need anything else and if you don't gravy is no gonna fix it.

We love the Ale and the Witch, so I was eager to try the Witches Den. We stopped here for dinner one evening so we could catch Buffalo Strange. We arrived early (highly recommend) so we were able to get a premium table on the second floor with a great view of the band. We ordered the chicken bbq take out. I prefer the sweeter sauce which I think is called "Kansas." Instead of mac and cheese or another carb option, we both requested an extra serving of broccoli. We both scarfed down the broc, it was so good! The chicken was very good too, not dry and the sauce was perfect. We ate there before they opened the restaurant, so our only option was take out. I can't wait to go back when they have the hot bar available so I can sample collard greens to go with my bbq. The Witches Den and Ale and the Witch are going to become an institution in St. Pete. It's a great place to go to listen to live music and grab a brew, and now we can eat something too! Well done!
